Before You Arrive

Campsite Rules

To ensure a safe, relaxing and enjoyable stay for all guests, we kindly ask for your cooperation with the following guidelines.

General Rules

  • Speed limit: 10 km/h, strictly enforced. Please watch for children at all times.
  • Quiet hours: 11:00 PM – 8:00 AM, 7 days a week (exceptions on holiday weekends).
  • No power equipment before 9:00 AM.

Guests & Visitors

  • Please respect fellow campers at all times.
  • All visitors must register with the office and leave by 11:00 AM, or overnight fees will apply.
  • No bicycle riding after dark. Helmets are required for ages 14 and under (provincial law).

Pets

  • Pets are welcome but must be leashed at all times.
  • Owners must clean up after their pets. Additional pet rules apply.

Garbage & Cleanliness

  • Do not leave garbage at your site or burn it in fire pits.
  • Use the dumpster located to your right when exiting the park.
  • Please take recyclables home with you.
  • Dispose of cigarette butts properly — not on the ground.

Campfires

  • Fire pits are rental use only.
  • Keep fires within the rings provided.
  • Do not move fire rings — violators may be asked to leave.

Nature & Property

  • Do not damage trees, shrubs, rocks, or plants.
  • No clotheslines or items tied between trees.

Water & Sewer

  • No dumping of gray or black water on the ground.
  • Use the dump station and flush with plenty of water.
  • Backflush connections to the water supply are not permitted.
  • No filling water tanks onsite ($500 fee applies).

Conduct

  • Profane language, intoxication, or disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Offenders may be asked to leave immediately.

Check-In / Check-Out

  • Check-in (RV): 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
  • Check-out: 11:00 AM.
  • Please notify the office if staying longer. Do not move sites without approval.

Additional Rules

  • No washing of RVs or vehicles onsite.
  • Respect others' privacy — no trespassing on occupied sites.
  • Playground is for recreational use only.

Ocean & Swimming Pool Safety

  • All children must be supervised by an adult (18+) at all times.
  • Please read and follow all posted rules at the boardwalk and pool areas.
  • Swimming in the ocean and pool is at your own risk. Hunter Beach Campground is not responsible for injuries or encounters with marine life.
  • No running, diving, or rough play in or around the pool area.
