Booking Directly With Us

All reservations at Hunter Beach Campground & Family Park are made directly with us — by phone, email, or through our contact form. There is no third-party booking agency involved, so any question about your stay can be answered by our own team.

By making a reservation or staying at the campground, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Campsite Rules.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that plans can change, and we always do our best to accommodate our guests. While we are unable to offer refunds for cancellations, we're happy to provide one complimentary date change within 30 days of your original booking, based on availability.

This allows you the flexibility to still enjoy your stay with us at a later time. Thank you so much for your understanding and support.

Refund Rules

All bookings are non-refundable; no refund will be awarded. Hunter Beach Campground has final authority over all cancellations and changes, and is not required to give refunds for inclement weather, wildlife, air quality, fire bans, early departures, no-shows, or other inconveniences.

Hunter Beach Campground reserves the right to refund reservations cancelled due to extraordinary circumstances, such as public health orders or government mandates.

Payments

• A deposit or full payment may be required to confirm your reservation.
• Rates, taxes and fees are quoted in Canadian dollars and are subject to change until your booking is confirmed.
• Additional charges may apply for extra guests, extra vehicles, unregistered overnight visitors, damage, or violations of the campsite rules (such as the $500 water-tank filling fee).

Campground Rules & Right of Refusal

All guests and visitors must follow our Campsite Rules. Hunter Beach Campground reserves the right to refuse service, or to require any guest or visitor to leave without refund, for behaviour that is unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of these terms.

Assumption of Risk & Liability

Camping, swimming, hiking our forest trail, and use of the beach, boardwalk, pool and playground are undertaken at your own risk. Hunter Beach Campground & Family Park is not responsible for injury, illness, encounters with wildlife or marine life, or for loss of or damage to personal property, vehicles, or recreational units, however caused.

Children must be supervised by an adult (18+) at all times, particularly at the beach, boardwalk and pool.

Weather, Acts of Nature & Property Damage

Hunter Beach Campground & Cottage Resort is not responsible or liable for any loss, theft, or damage to recreational vehicles, trailers, decks, vehicles, boats, or personal property caused by weather or acts of nature — including wind, rain, hail, lightning, storm surge, flooding, hurricanes or tropical storms, ice, snow load, falling trees or branches, fire, power interruptions, or wildlife.

This applies equally to seasonal sites and to units left with us for winter storage. All recreational units, decks and belongings are kept on the property entirely at the owner's risk. Seasonal and storage guests are strongly encouraged to carry their own comprehensive insurance covering their unit and contents year-round.

Fees for seasonal sites, add-ons such as the RV deck, and winter storage are not reduced, refunded or credited for weather events, closures ordered by authorities, service interruptions, or unused time.

Seasonal Sites & Winter Storage

• Our season runs May 15 to September 30. Seasonal fees must be paid in full by April 30 of that season year.
• Seasonal sites are assigned to the site number selected at checkout; a site is locked to you as soon as your payment is received.
• Winter storage runs October 1 to April 1 and may be paid in full or monthly. Monthly storage payments are charged automatically on the 1st of each month until the end of the storage term.
• All prices are in Canadian dollars and subject to 15% HST. Payments are processed securely by Stripe; we never store your full card number.

Privacy Statement

Hunter Beach Campground is committed to protecting your privacy and securing your data. We collect only the information we need to serve you.

• Contact information such as your name, phone number, email address and mailing address.
• Reservation details such as your dates, site or rental preference, party size, and any notes you send us.
• Payment transaction details such as the amount, date and method of payment. We do not store full credit card numbers.
• Basic website usage information such as pages viewed, which helps us improve the site.

How We Use Your Information

• To create, confirm and manage your reservation.
• To contact you about your stay and answer your questions.
• To process payments and enforce our booking terms.
• To send you seasonal updates or offers, only if you've asked to receive them.
• To comply with the law and protect the safety of our guests and property.

Information Security & Your Rights

While no organization can guarantee perfect security, we use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss or alteration. We never sell your personal information.

You may ask us at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing support@hunterbeachcampground.ca. We may retain certain records where required for accounting, tax or legal purposes.

In these terms, "you" and "your" refer to the person accessing this website. Content on this site — including text, photos, maps and logos — is the property of Hunter Beach Campground & Family Park and may not be reproduced without permission. We make every effort to keep rates, dates and availability accurate, but information on this site is provided without warranty and may change without notice.

Modification of Terms

Hunter Beach Campground reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions, its campsite rules, and its refund policy at any time in accordance with this provision. The version posted on this page at the time of your booking applies to your stay.
